PATA organises tourism workshop

KATHMANDU: A two-day human capital development workshop on 'Innovations and Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism' concluded in the Capital on Tuesday. Kaye Chon, dean of hotel and tourism management at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, had participated in the workshop on the invitation of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter, as per a statement. The workshop was participated by around 180 people affiliated with airlines, hotels, travel sector and students. On Sunday, around 200 students and concerned authorities of the tourism sector had participated in the one-day seminar on 'Tourism World and Your Career' held at Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE) College.
