2 held with 3 kg gold from overhead bridge in Ratnapark Area

KATHMANDU: Two persons were held in possession of 3 kilo gram of gold from a overhead bridge in Ratnapark Area in Kathmandu around 4 pm on Monday, police said.

A police official at the Metropolitan Police Circle Durbarmarg, speaking to THT Online over the phone confirmed the incident.

He further said Mohan Maharjan and Ayush Bajracharya were held with precious yellow metal at a Ranadeep bridge in the Ratnapark Area this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the further investigation is underway.

The current market value of fine gold per 10 gram is worth Rs 48,355 in Nepal, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealer's Association.
