KATHMANDU: The Constituent Assembly meeting called for 3 pm on Saturday has been put off for 6 pm.

According to Assistant Spokesperson at the Secretariat, Sudarshan Kuinkel, the meeting has been postponed for three hours as the leaders of the major political parties have been holding discussions since this morning to thrash out issues regarding demarcation of Pradeshes in the purported federal set-up.

Earlier, the meeting called for 5 pm on Friday was deferred for 3 pm on Saturday.

Similarly, the meeting of the Constitutional Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee (CPDCC) scheduled for 1 pm today has been deferred for 3 pm.
