Chinese delegation led by CPC Vice-Minister Guo Yezhou returns home

KATHMANDU: The Chinese delegation led by Vice-Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Guo Yezhou has returned home, today.

It has been learnt that the four-member delegation took a Himalaya Airlines flight back home today morning.

The Chinese delegation had come to Nepal on Sunday following the split of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli dissolved the House of Representatives and announced mid-term elections.

After the arrival, the delegation called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Oli, co-chairs of NCP (Dahal-Nepal faction) Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal, and senior NCP leader Jhalanath Khanal.

The delegation also held meetings with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chair of the Federal Council of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal Baburam Bhattarai.
