KATHMANDU: Dr Govinda KC, who was arrested on Monday on charges of contempt of court, has been presented before the Supreme Court today morning.

Dr KC's presentation before the court was in line with the direction of the apex court to the Home Ministry and the police to this effect.

The senior orthopaedic surgeon, who had staged hunger strikes 13 times, demanding reforms in medical sector, just announced the 14 fast-onto-death demanding resignation of Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli before he was arrested from the protest spot at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.
