KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 85,000 was reduced to rubble when a fire broke out at a cotton factory in Lukusi of Lalitpur Municipality-17 on Monday.

Police said that the reason behind the fire that broke out at the cotton factory owned by Ramesh Shrestha was electric short circuit.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
