KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar, of Madhesi Janadhikari Forum-Democratic, once again said addition of one more province would resolve the crisis in Tarai-Madhes region.

He, however, dismissed the demand of other Madhesi parties, mainly those affiliated with the United Democratic Madhesi Front, for altogeher two provinces in the entire Tarai-Madhes region by including three districts in eastern Nepal -- Jhapa, Morang ans Sunsari -- in Province No 2.

Talking to the media people after receiving a memorandum from the Reporters Club to resolve the ongoing political stalemate in the country, Gachhadar dubbed the demand for inclusion of the three districts in Province No 2  as extreme. He said making two provinces in Tarai-Madhes was impossible.

He was of the opinion that there should be three provinces in Tarai-Madhes region.
