KATHMANDU: In an effort to ease the supply of cooking gas in the Capital, authorities sealed a cooking gas depot which was reportedly involved in hoarding of cooking gas with the intention of black marketing, on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, the team deployed from the Department of Supplies and the Metropolitan Police Cirlce Janasewa had raided the depot run by Badri Manandhar in Naradevi in the Capital.

The depot was sealed after the team discovered 32 full cooking gas cylinders hoarded.

Manandhar has been ordered to produce himself at the Department of Supplies for further investigation.
