Leaders pay tributes to late Mangal Siddhi Manandhar

KATHMANDU: Leaders of various political parties on Saturday paid final tributes to Mangal Siddhi Manandhar, former minister and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal leader, who had died on Friday.

Speaker Onsari Gharti, CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Maoist leader Barshaman Pun, CPN-Revolutionary Maoist Vice-Chairman CP Gajurel, CPN-UML Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, lawmaker Shyam Shrestha among others had reached Khulamanch, where Manandhar's body was kept, for the tributes.

Earlier, his body was kept at the FSF-N central office in Tinkune and the Tri-Chandra College, where he taught geology for years.

According to the party, Manandhar would be cremated at the Pashupati Aryaghat as per the family tradition today itself.
