KATHMANDU: Police on Sunday arrested a persons for attacking a teenage boy with a pair of scissors over a minor dispute, from Sitapaila of Kathmandu.

Atit Limbu and Ajit Limbu had attacked Anish Rai (18) with the scissors, used to cut cloth, over a minor dispute at the Padma Colony in Sitapaila, Nagarjun Municipality-5 today, according to police.

While Atit was arrested, Ajit is on the run since the incident and police have launched a manhunt.

Police are yet to find out where the Limbu duo are from.

Meanwhile, Rai, a permanent resident of Bargachhi Municipality-7, sustained injuries in the attack and is undergoing treatment at the Manmohan Hospital in Swayambhu.

Further investigation is underway.
