Murder suspect held

KATHMANDU: A man has been nabbed on charge of murdering an auto workshop worker in Kathmandu recently.

A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) nabbed Umesh Bikram Bista aka Bigyan (32), a resident of Hatiya-3 in Makawanpur district, on Sunday.

Police claimed that he murdered 21-year-old Ashok Khadka, a staffer at the Sagar Automobile Workshop in Mhaipi, KMC-16 on July 17.

A permanent resident of Mali-1 of Dolakha district, Khadka's body was found inside a vehicle at the garage on July 17.

Meanwhile, the suspect has been handed over to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Lainchaur, for further investigations and actions.
