KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh said the Constitution amendment proposal was not registered at the interest of any external forces but to address the demands of the dissenting Tarai based parties.

Speaking in a programme organised in the capital today, he added that it was only the rumour spread by opposition parties that external forces were involved.

Singh stressed on all-party unity for the implementation of the Constitution.
