KATHMANDU: Police arrested a British man of Nepali origin with a bullet belt and a gun from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Thursday.

Police have identified the man as Abhisekh Limbu, who was travelling to Hong Kong on Nepal Airlines flight.

Police added that Limbu was arrested while trying to transport a bullet belt with 61 rounds of bullets and a gun in his suitcase.

Limbu has been sent to the Metropolitan Police Crime Division for further investigation, informed Metropolitan Police Airport Security Office, Gauchar.
