Oli expands Cabinet again, inducts 4 more state and assistant ministers

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expanded his Cabinet today again, inducting two state ministers and two assistant ministers.

Now, the Cabinet strength is 30.

Kunti Kumari Shahi has been sworn in as the Minister of State for Local Development, and Biraj Bista as the Assistant Minister for Local Development.

Likewise, Bikram Bahadur Thapa has been included in the Cabinet as the Minister of State for Land Reforms and Management; and Dinesh Shrestha as the Assistant Minister for Land Reforms and Management.

All the newly appointed ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy from the Prime Minister today.

All the new ministers represent the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal.

The RPP-N earlier had sent party Chairman Kamal Thapa as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and lawmaker Ram Kumar Subba as the Minister for Land Reforms and Management.

Now, in the 30-member Cabinet, there is the Prime Minister, six Deputy Prime Ministers, 17 ministers, four ministers of state and two assistant ministers.
