Opposition parties to hold mass demo in Kathmandu today
KATHMANDU: Opposition parties including the CPN-UML are organising a mass demonstration in the Capital today to protest the Constitution amendment bill.
The parties have been claiming that the bill was anti-constitutional and against national interests as it was brought out to serve interests of external forces.
UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli among other leaders are scheduled to address the mass demonstration to be held on a street at the Pradarshani Marga in front of the Nepal Tourism Board and the City Hall.
Meanwhile, traffic movement in the Kathmandu Valley was thrown out of the gear today as the party cadres took out rallies from various points as a part of the mass demonstration.
