Pandey elected ECAN president

Kathmandu, February 28

Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal, an umbrella organisation of educational consultancies across the country, today elected a 19-member executive committee led by Prakash Pandey for the next two years.

Similarly, Rajendra Risal has been elected the first vice-president, Bhupendra (Niraj) Sitaula the second vice-president, Bishnu Hari Pandey third vice-president and Santosh Pyakurel general secretary.

Likewise, Rajendra Risal has been elected the first secretary and Umesh Dhungel the second secretary. Devi Das Bhattarai is the new treasurer and Ramesh Wagle new joint-treasurer.

Members of new committee include Deepak Raj Bhusal, Kamala Basnet, Nirupama Maharjan, Govinda Adhikari, Prakash Shrestha, Bharat Dhakal, Pushpa Raj Bhattarai, Surya Bahadur Dangi and Bikram KC.

Identifying new destinations for abroad studies, organising workshops and training programmes in coordination with foreign missions, taking initiatives for construction of well-equipped building for ECAN as well as amending the directives related to educational consultancy are some of the agendas put forth by Pandey.
