KATHMANDU: Two men allegedly opened fire at a police team at Lumbini Guest House of Khichapokhari in Sundhara on Sunday morning.

Police arrested the men, identified as Chhotelal Thakur of Bara district and Raj Kumar Patel of Rautahat district, after the incident.

Thakur was injured as in retaliation, police said.

According to police,  the security personnel deployed from the Nepal Police's Central Investigation Bureau had reached there looking for some suspects when the two opened fire at them.
