KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday filed a charge sheet at the Special Court against Top Bahadur Mahatara, the then Account Officer at Radio Nepal.

Issuing a statement, the anti-graft body said it registered the charge sheet against Mahatara at the Special Court for submitting fake academic certificates for the job entry.

Furthermore, he is learnt to have furnished fake certificates to secure promotion in his job.

The Commission has demanded maximum punishment against the accused as per the law, added the statement.
