RPP-N Gen Secy Gurung's body brought to Nepal

KATHMANDU: The body of Chandra Bahadur Gurung has been brought to Nepal on Tuesday.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal's General Secretary Gurung breathed his last during the course of treatment at a hospital in the United States on October 10. He was 61.

He suffered from pancreatic cancer and was receiving treatment in Colorado of the US.

His body will be kept at the party office in Dhumbarahi for the final tributes.

Gurung, who hailed from Syangja district, was the Parliamentary Party leader of RPP-Nepal in the first Constituent Assembly, elected in 2008.

He is survived by his wife Meenu and two children Abhishek and Richa.
