KATHMANDU: Police on Friday reported three cases of theft from various locations of Kathmandu Valley.

Property worth around Rs 360,000 were stolen from a house in Danchi of Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-4 on Thursday, said police.

According to police, an unidentified gang broke into the house belonging to Rajan Kuinkel and ran off with Rs 140,000 cash and various gold jewelleries.

Similarly, two cases of theft were reported from a single house in Gumas of Harisiddhi Municipality-29 in Lalitpur district on Thursday.

An unidentified gang broke into a house and decamped with gold jewelleries worth around Rs 118,000 from the rented room belonging to Gyanu Kumari Rakhal of Sarlahi district. Likewise, in the same house, Rs 100,200 cash were stolen from another room belonging to Kalpana Tamang of Makawanpur district .
