Maoist leaders continue criticising ministers, CC meet adjourned till Saturday

KATHMANDU: The ongoing Central Committee meeting of the ruling coalition member UCPN-Maoist has been adjourned till Saturday.

The party said the meeting was postponed after all CC members expressed their opinions about various political agendas.

Now, after resumption of the meeting, party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal would answer the concerns raised by the members.

Many leaders, during the meeting, had criticised ministers representing the party for being unable to deliver as expected.

Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet, in particular, was criticised for including kin of himself and other party leaders in a delegation of earthquake victims, which left for China on Friday.

Dahal, beginning the meeting, had presented a political dossier explaining the party's positions in the current political scenario and next plans of action.

The meeting had begun on December 1.
