KATHMANDU: A 18-year-old youth, who had kidney failure, apparently committed suicide jumping off the third floor of the Maharajganj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Monday night.

Police identified the youth as Bijay Khadka (18) of Malu, Dolakha.

Khadka was admitted to the hospital for sometime for regular dialysis and treatment.

Critically injured after the fall, Khadka breathed his last during the course of treatment, according to police.
