ILAM: A total of 101 complaints have been registered in the transitional bodies— the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) — so far in Ilam through the local peace committee.

The TRC and the CIEDP are formed to deal with the incidents of human rights violation and enforced disappearances dating back to the decade-long armed conflict (1996-2006) in the country.

The registered complaints are related to enforced displacement, murder, physical torture, bodily harm, mutilation, abduction and property damage, said Committee Office Secretary Dikendra Idingo.
