NAWALPARASI: An ambulance rally was staged protesting against the ongoing petroleum crisis in Kawasoti, Nawalparasi on Tuesday. The rally commenced from Nepal Red Cross Society, Kawasoti sub-branch and ended at Area Administration Office. Babu Ram Kandel, Chairman of Nawalpur Ambulance Operation Management Committee, said they had to resort to protest as they could not use their ambulances due to fuel crunch. He said, “Our ambulances have been gathering dust due to fuel crisis. The government does not seem serious about operating even essential means of transport.”
