DAILEKH: A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army on Wednesday defused a bomb supposed to be implanted 13 years ago during the armed conflict in Dailekh.

Locals had found the explosive on Tuesday in a farm of Chandra Prasad Sigdel of Narayan Municipality-1 in course of removing weeds from the maize field. The locals then had informed the Nepal Army and the District Police Office immediately.

A bomb disposal team from Kali Dal Battalion based in Surkhet defused the bomb at 10:00 am today.
