Cart-cycle protest programme

United Democratic Madhesi Front today staged a cart and bicycle rally in Gaur, Rautahat.

At the call of UDMF Rautahat chapter, local youths and front cadres took out a cycle rally at Sirsiya, Hajminiya, Pathara and Bam Canal, among other places. The rally converged into a mass meeting at BP Chowk.

Similarly, UDMF cadres staged a cart rally and made a round of Gaur Municipality. UDMF Rautahat Chapter Coordinator Ramniwash Yaadv said that irate youths and front cadres had taken out the cart rally against the government’s apathy towards solving their problems.

Similarly, UDMF cadres burned the effigies of newly elected Prime Minister KP Oli, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Democratic Chairman Bijay Kumar Gachhadar and UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal in front of Rautahat DAO.

UDMF cadres gave continuity to their relay hunger strike and obstruction at the Nepal-India border point.

Local Kishori Yadav accused the government and major parties of neglecting the agitators’ demands and concerns despite their prolonged agitation and protest.
