POKHARA: A foreign woman was found dead in Begnas Lake, near Pokhara, of Kaski district on Tuesday.

The woman, who appears to be in her late 20s, is yet to be identified.

The body found nearby Sundar Danda in the Lake was taken to Western Regional Hospital for autopsy.

Sisuwa Police Post's Inspector Mitra Bahadur Acharya informed that police have started interrogating hoteliers of Pokhara and Lekhanath in a bid to identify the woman.

Police have suspected that she might have slipped and fell into the Lake as there was no any scar and bruise on her body.
