GULMI: A social organisation in Gulmi district on Saturday provided financial assistance of Rs 138,000 to a kidney patient.

Til Bahadur GC of Badigaun Rural Municipality-5 in Baglung district received the financial assistance from the organisation 'Paudi Save Society'.

A team from the organisation handed over the amount to GC, who is presently undergoing treatment at Kathmandu-based Grande International Hospital.

According to organisation chair Santosh Giri, the sum collected in a fund in collaboration with Nepalis from Gulmi currently residing in foreign countries, was meant for facilitating his treatment.
