JAJARKOT: A team from Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today arrested engineer Anjan Kumar Dev of District Technical Office, Jajarkot with Rs 80,000 bribe.

The team deployed from CIAA office in Surkhet arrested Dev with the bribe money received from a service seeker, who he had promised to provide work completion report on a small irrigation project, according to Information Officer of CIAA, Megh Nath Sapkota.

The team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal took Dev under custody Monday morning from his own office.

Information Officer Saptoka informed that further investigation into the matter is underway.
