JAJARKOT: A woman was found dead with stab injuries seen on her body near Khalanga Bazaar of Jajarkot district on Sunday morning.

Police suspected that 28-year-old Radhika Sunar, who hailed from Bohara in Bherimalika-4 of Jajarkot, was fatally attacked with khukuri. The body was recovered from Pasagaad, a local river, at around 9 am.

People and motive behind the gruesome murder are yet to be known, police said.

The body was sent to the District Hospital for autopsy.

The victim is survived by her husband and two sons, aged seven and three years. It has been learned that her husband is with Nepal Army.
