KHOTANG: Efforts are under way to establish Province-level Kirant University in Khotang.

With the implementation of the federal structure, education experts of the district have put forward their efforts to set up the Provincial Kirant University.

Khotang Chapter Chairperson of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Hattiram Rai said that the idea of a university was mooted in the district to advance research and study on multiple religions and cultures.
