Literary protest against blockade

PARASI: A literary protest was organised by scores of writers and artists expressing their dissatisfaction against the unofficial Indian blockade, through their creations, on Wednesday.

At a programme, the practitioners of freedom of expression presented the model of literary protest against the Indian atrocities through their songs, poems, gajals and dramas.

On the occasion, literary writers including Bhupendra Sharma Bhattarai, Jeevan Sapkota, Deepak Raj Bhattarai, Deepak Swoti and Bimal Diwas cited their literary pieces.

Likewise, a street drama written by Jeevan Sapkota and directed by Khagaraj Sapkota was demonstrated with the theme to protest the disruption of essentials across Nepal-India border.
