Mahat stresses national consensus govt to resolve exising problems

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) Central Committee member Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said that a national consensus government should be formed to resove the existing problems.

Speaking at a news conference organised by Chitwan chapter of Press Union here on Saturday, leader Mahat said, "The incumbent government cannot resolve the problems of the people. So, the national consensus government should be formed as soon as possible."

Claiming that the incumbent government will not get support of the Madhes-based political parties, he said that consensus will be forged if NC takes leadership of the national consensus government.
