DAMAK: A man was arrested for murdering his wife from Topgachhi in Jhapa on Saturday.

The suspect has been identified as Parshuram Rijal of Topgachhi-8.

According to Bhumika Koirala, Chair of the Women Empowerment Centre, Nepal, Rijal attacked his wife Durga, assumed to be around 40 years old, leaving her dead on the spot.

The alleged had surrendered to the police shortly after the murder of his wife.
