NAWALPARASI: A murder case has been filed on Monday against Rudra Narayan Chaudhari aka Aashish accusing him of murdering Manisha Gharti Magar.

The District Attorney, Rudra Panthi, filed the case at the Nawalparasi District Court against Chaudhari demanding life imprisonment.

Panthi informed that the case was filed on the basis of circumstantial evidences found against him.

Recording of the suspect’s statement and hearing on the case would be held soon, according to Panthi.

Nepal national football team striker Bimal Gharti Magar's sister, Manisha, was found dead in a suspicious condition in her house in Bardaghat of the district on May 26.

Police had conducted polygraph test, also known as lie-detection test, on Chaudhari, who was said to be in relationship with the 17-year-old girl. Chaudhary, however, had passed the test.

Earlier, the Court had remanded him to custody for investigation.
