Midnight fire guts houses, shops in Dadeldhura
DADELDHURA: Three houses and three shops were completely destroyed in a fire that broke out at midnight in Gaiwadhe Bazaar of Dadeldhura district, on Saturday.
According to the Dadeldhura District Police Office, shops owned by Arjun Bohora, Ramesh Bohara and Akkal Bohora, and houses belonging to Dharma Singh Bohora, Lal Bahadur Bohora and Prakash Khadka turned into ashes in the fire.
Police have informed that the fire could have started following a short circuit.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said the property loss could amount up to Rs 10 million.
The fire was brought under control at 7 am this morning with the help of the locals.
