KATHMANDU: A body was of minor girl, who had gone missing for the past six days, was found lying on a bridge over irrigation canal at Kaudana VDC-3 in Sarlahi district, police said.

The deceased has been identified as 12-year-old Rekha Kumari Chaudhari.

In Sunsari district, an unidentified man was found dead near the forest Taltalaiya Chok in Itahari-2 today. The deceased appeared to be in his forties, according to police.

Police said they are looking into both the cases.
