GULARIYA: A pillion rider was killed in a bike accident last night along the Thakurdwar-Ambasha road stretch of Bardiya district.

Nabin Bhandari, a native of Jammukandh of Dailekh district, who was working for Suryapatuwa Thakurdwar irrigation project, was killed when the motorbike (Bhe 2 Pa 6665) crashed, Area Police Office, Bhurigaun said.

Police have detained bike rider Sanjaya Tharu of Shivapur-9 for investigation.
