Poinsettia planted in Phewa Lake area

POKHARA: As many as 120 saplings of poinsettia (Lalupate) flower were planted on the bank of Phewa Lake in Hallanchowk of Pokhara.

The Community Police Service Centre, Baidam, organised the programme with the support of a Korean national. The flowering plants were planted to adorn Phewa Lake and its area, said Centre Chairman, Bhim Parajuli.

Youth Association, Baidam provided other necessary support for the same while the Korean national provided the plants.

Similarly, seven waste bins have also been kept in the area.
