BHOJPUR: Property worth around Rs 200,000 were destroyed after a house engulfed in flames in Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality-1 of Sankhuwasabha district on Wednesday.

The fire the sparked from a kitchen stove, spread throughout the two-storey house owned by  local Purna Bahadur Tamang in Lebaraang yesterday, according to the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha.

All the belongings and properties in the house turned into cinders, informed police. However, no human casualties have been reported.

Police with the help of locals doused the fire.

Meanwhile, police are investigating further into the incident.
