'Rastriya Prajatantra Party to advocate Hindu state revival'

RAJBIRAJ: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Pashupati Shamsher Rana said his party would advocate reestablishing the Hindu state as it had been the only Hindu nation in the world.

Speaking at a press conference in Rajbiraj of Saptari today, Rana said, "It is wrong that the new Constitution end the Hindu nation. But, we will go to the people for the Hindu republic."

The leader also said his party would demand a referendum to make a decision on the issue.

Meanwhile, Rana claimed his party would merge with the Kamal Thapa-led Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal within next one month.
