RUKUM: A child was killed when his house collapsed and crushed him at Bhalakchha VDC in Rukum district on Saturday.

Police identified the deceased as Bir Bahadur Pariyar, a six-year-old son of local resident Dal Bahadur Pariyar.

The child had sustained injuries in his head and chest in the incident.

The house had collapsed following a heavy rainfall throughout Friday, police said.
