PALPA: Tansen Bazaar in Palpa shut down today to mourn the death of 14 people in a fatal bus accident at Humin of Rambha Rural Municipality on Friday.

The local business community decided to close their businesses, aggrieving loss of lives in the incident.

Palpa Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mohan Prasad Shrestha was also among those killed in the accident.

Others deceased were identified as Krishna Bahadur Bohara, Chief of the Division Cooperative Office, Palpa and office-bearers of Tansen-based Laxmi Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited.

The bus (Lu 1 Kha 975) carrying employees of the Cooperative skidded on the muddy shoulder of the road and fell around 150 metres at Dharadi forest.
