‘Tikapur incident guilty will be booked’

Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar today said investigation into Tikapur incident, that occurred on August 7, would be revealed soon.

“The incident in which as many as eight security personnel, including senior police officers, were killed, will be made public soon,” said DPM Gachhadar.

Speaking to journalists in Dhagadi today, Gachhadar said that the Tikapur incident was a deadly, premeditated one. Hence, the guilty won’t get releases,” he claimed.

He said that action would be taken against the guilty, whereas the innocent would be given clean chit by the judiciary, he said.

In a different context, Gachhadar, who is also the Chair of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Democratic, said that he was personally against one Madhes, one Pradhes modality.

“Mountain, hill and plain are inter-dependent. Hence, there must not be any kind of prejudice,” he said. There is no alternative but to create harmony among people from various communities, he argued.

He also ruled out the possibility of a new government soon after the national general convention of the Nepali Congress. “The government is not a stable one, but it won’t change immediately,” he argued.
