DAMAULI: Twenty-year-old Bhagawati Bote of Tanahun’s Byas Municipality, Patan  has been missing for the past five days.

“We found a letter saying she has left her three-year-old daughter, but there is not a trace of her,” said Bhagawati’s mother Bhagirathi Poudel, adding that she had inquired everywhere to learn about her daughter’s whereabouts.

Meanwhile, the mother blamed her daughter’s in-laws for the disappearance, saying the daughter had been putting up with bad treatment from her in-laws and husband.

Bhagawati and her husband Uttam had tied the knot five years ago after a love affair. Police said search for the woman had been launched.
