BHOJPUR: Police said that a woman was robbed of her valuables in Inaruwa-10 of Sunsari on Sunday.

The victim Sabita Chaudhary reported that Rs 70,000 cash and a Samsung mobile phone were snatched away from her, informed the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar. Chaudhary was an employer of Inaruwa-based Community Cooperative, who was returning to her office after collecting the installments.

Police said that two people came on a motorcycle (of which the registration number is not identified) and hit her on the head before running away with her belongings.

Chaudhary sustained minor injuries in the attack and is being treated at Inaruwa Hospital.

Police said they are searching for the suspects.
