TAULIHAWA: An unidentified group on Thursday shot dead a local youth in Jitpur of Banganga Municipality.

Rajesh Sen, who was immediately rushed to Lumbini Zonal Hospital, was pronounced dead by the doctors, said DSP Dilliraj Bista.

The motorbike-borne unidentified men shot at Sen while he was standing near a stage made to pay tributes to late Nepali Congress president Sushil Koirala.

The victim’s body has been kept at the hospital.
