TOPICS: Wake-up call

Addressing the issues of today’s youth has become much more challenging than it was before. Aspirations of the youth have gone so high that their proper handling has become difficult.

With the drastic change in the governance structure of the country and the decentralization of power it has also become easy for the planner to plan the strategy according to the issues of local level.  As the instability of political arena has been trending up, it has created huge disappointment among youths.

Around one thousand five hundred youths leave the country daily. They left their home, spouse, parents, children hoping that one day they can improve their standard of living.

For every issue you have two options. One, you face it with full effort and try to bring change and the other is to let the thing continue because it was not changed earlier and was the same from the beginning. Which one to choose depends on you. The mostly noticed thing in today’s youth is their aggression and impatience. We lose our temper fast. We never develop the habit of patience. We need the things done right now, for this we may say many things like we don’t have time, or we are in a hurry.

We spend most of our time cursing leaders and blaming them for all the trouble we are going through. No doubt they are major players for making all these but not the sole ones responsible. Stop becoming a blind follower of any ideology and do the good things that you can do from your side. It doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone should join politics.

New vibes are seen in different sectors. Let’s get inspired from them and add value to our work. A small silver lining is visible now but the cloud is huge. Let’s not lose hope, one day we will definitely overcome these situations.

We are successful in having our representatives after almost twenty years. The level of political awareness is also more than satisfactory for a country like ours. But the main thing we need to focus on now is prosperity. We must develop that thirst for prosperity among us. We must make changes in our lifetime. We should contribute to the optimum level that we can so that we can feel proud in the second innings of our life seeing our contributions.

If we analyze the history of development of countries like Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia etc then we can conclude is, for prosperity one generation should devote their entire life to development.
