KATHMANDU: Golden Gate International College and Bishal Milan Kendra recorded wins in the Kwik’s Basketball League here on Saturday.

GGIC defeated Kirtipur Basketball Team 81-65 riding on Bikram Dangol’s 19 points and Binod Shrestha’s 16 points.

Anil Khadgi Shahi scored 21 points for Kirtipur. In another match, BMK saw off Xavier International College 84-77.

The results meant GGIC (27 points), BMK (27) and Himalayan Hounds (24) confirmed berth in playoffs. Tribhuvan Army Club, who accumulated 36 points from 12 matches, have already entered next round as table toppers. — HNS
