KATHMANDU: Mirmire Youth Club, Swopnabaag Western United and Dhungeadda UNESCO recorded wins in the Naikap Gold Cup Football Tournament here on Monday.

Mirmire defeated Hamro Chisapani Cooperative 2-0 riding on goals from Biplop Shah and Sudan Karki. Swopnabaag edged past Setidevi Youth Club 3-0. Sanjeev Maharjan scored a brace and Subash Ghalan netted a goal for Swopnabaag. Dhungeadda defeated Naikap Youth Group 11-10 on sudden death after both the teams played a 3-3 draw in regular 90 minutes. Sameer Karki, Abhisek Rijal and Sunil Basnet scored for Dhungeadda, while Sunil Tamang, Hemant KC and Rahul Shrestha were on the scoresheet for Naikap in regular time. Abhay Rana of Mirmire Youth Club, Anish Maharjan of Western United and Naikap Youth Group goalkeeper Bimal Shrestha won the man-of-the-match awards.
